Cargo carrier's a good idea to get more space out of your Wagoneer, so if you already got loaded with gear and you wanna just make more leg room overall for everybody you can move some of that cargo out here. If you wanna carry just more stuff in general, you can do that too. Also, a good option for dirty, or sweaty gear that you don't wanna take the mess inside. Another nice thing about this car carrier is gonna be lightweight aluminum. more

Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today we're gonna be talking about the Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier on the back of a 2022 Dodge Durango. This carrier can support about 400 pounds which is a little bit less than some of our other options. So when I stand up here trying to stand in the center not on the mesh itself, the vehicle kind of goes down a little bit, but not too much. So I think it's gonna perform pretty well with this cargo carrier. As for the mesh, if you put weight down on it directly, you're gonna notice a lot more give than if it was gonna be on the bar itself. more

Hi, Matt here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Flint Hill Goods steel compact cargo carrier, on the back of a 2022 Dodge Durango. Some of the features of this compact cargo carrier is that it can still hold the 500 pounds, just like most of our other cargo carriers. And, the vehicle's barely going down so it's interacting very nicely with it. So that's a a plus for it. And the back of it is, since it's compact, it's not gonna extend out nearly as far as a lot of other cargo carriers. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video
Hi Matt here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about our Flint Hills good aluminum cargo carrier on the back of the 2022 Dodge Durango. As for the capabilities of this cargo carrier, it's about a medium sized cargo carrier that can handle about 500 pounds. So if I get in the back of it, I'm about 250 pounds, just under, and the vehicle barely shifts down, so the vehicle handles it very nicely as well. As for putting anything inside the cargo carrier, the walls are pretty short on it, they're pretty shallow, so this would be a great cargo carrier for anything like bags or anything that might kind of spill over just a little bit. As for the dimensions, it's gonna be about 48 inches in an interior of the width, just over 21 inches for the length, and then on the bottom here we have just under 12 inches. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier on the 2022 Dodge Durango. This medium-sized cargo carrier is gonna be able to handle 500 pounds. So that's perfect if you have anything heavy you wanna keep outside your vehicle and not inside the back. If I get inside of it, you can see I'm just under 250 pounds, and that's handling pretty well. Now, if we look at the dimensions of it, the width is gonna be about 47 1/4 inches, and the length is gonna be about 20 1/2 inches, depth just under six inches. As for tie down, tying anything down, now, really, we have a lot of spots that work great for that, you know, like even this aluminum is still gonna be, is still really sturdy. more

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this aluminum cargo carrier from Flint Hill Goods, and we put it on a 2021 Toyota Rav 4. Cargo carrier's a great idea to get more room out of your Rav 4 if you don't want to mess with a cargo box on top, or if you just wanna make more leg room for everybody on a longer trip, you can move some of that gear out here, strap it down, and be on your way. Another cool thing is that if you want messy or dirty gear, you can put it, throw it on here, and not bring that mess inside the Rav 4, you can just spray this off and be done with it. Now, this is gonna be a lightweight aluminum cargo carrier, so that means it's gonna be easy to put in the hitch or take out and store in your garage. Just because it's aluminum though, doesn't mean it's not heavy duty, it can still handle up to 500 pounds, so you can still load up your gear and not worry about it. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods compact hitch mounted cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Jeep Cherokee. Now this is gonna be a great way to carry some extra stuff with you if you've maybe run out of space on the inside on a road trip or maybe you're just taking a trip to the hardware store picking up some things like mulch or concrete that tend to rip and make a mess inside the vehicle and you'd rather keep that mess outside where it's easy to clean. You can just hose this off with a hose whenever you get home and you're good to go. A lot easier than vacuuming out the interior of your vehicle. This is gonna be a hitch mounted carrier that is made of aluminum, keeping it very lightweight and easy to get in and out of your hitch or maybe hang up on the wall of your garage. Coming in at only a little above 20 pounds, but still capable of carrying up to 500 pounds. So pretty impressive capabilities. It's got these long, wide slats for putting all of your stuff on, which leaves the bottom mainly open for any sort of dirt and debris to fall through. more

Hey everybody. Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods hitch-mounted steel cargo carrier on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. Now, our carrier here today is going to be made of powder coated steel, which just means that the steel is going to be nice and durable. While the powder coating helps it resist a lot of that corrosion and usually steel is a little bit heavier but our basket only comes in at 25 pounds a day, which is just as much weighs as much as some of our aluminum cargo carriers. So if you wanted to store this in your garage off of your vehicle I don't think it would be any trouble compared to some of those aluminum cargo carriers about the same weight of just kind of mounting it up on the wall since it doesn't weigh as much anymore. more

Hey, everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. Now, our basket is going to be made of aluminum, which means it's going to be very lightweight and corrosion resistant, pretty important for driving through the elements. It is only going to weigh 23 pounds, so if you want to store this in your garage off of your vehicle, it is fairly lightweight and being able to just like hang it from a point on your wall perhaps. Now, if you have to keep it on your vehicle though, what kind of dimensions is it going to add to it Well, we're gonna go and take our tape measure, put it on our bumper, and measure the furthest point out, seeing that we're only adding on about 25 1/2 inches to the back of our vehicle. We did look this up earlier, and you probably do have about 16 to 17 inches of space to stack up on your items before you start to interfere with your full hatch clearance. more

Car carriers a good option to have if you overload your Durango, you don't want certain equipment in there, maybe muddy or sweaty sports gear, you can put out here and it makes less of a mess on the car carrier than does on the inside. I always like that, 'cause you can spray this off far easier then detail on the inside of your car. Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods hitch aluminum cargo carrier on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Why would you need a hitch cargo carrier It has a couple of different uses. For instance, if you're going over a longer road trip and have your car filled up with people and maybe all your luggage doesn't fit into the back end, you're going that additional luggage is gonna have to go somewhere else. So this is a perfect opportunity for that. Or if you're going to something like the hardware store and picking up those messier items like mulch or fertilizer maybe and don't want that to have the potential to break open and spill over your car or kind of stink it up, having it on the outside of our vehicle, is a really nice option. more

Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima EXO system Swing Away Storage and Ski and Snowboard Carrier and seeing how it fits in the back of our 2023 Kia Telluride. This is gonna be a completely modular system. So the whole kit here that you see comes with the Swing Away base, the top shelf that adds the second layer for your accessories, the gear locker box on the bottom and the ski and snowboard carrier up top. And the nice thing about the EXO system is that with it being modular and offering so many different accessories, you can swap things out and get this all individually if you wanted. So in the summer, if we wanna swap out the ski and snowboard carrier for a bike rack, we can do that. more

Now, our Durango does offer us a lot of space on the inside, but that space is filled with people who need their own luggage and space. We might find ourselves running out of room inside. So, our cargo carrier here could be an excellent reason to have some external storage or if you're going to the hardware store, picking up things like mulch, manure, maybe starting a spring project and we don't want that potentially to bust open on the inside and get our Durango dirty, again, this is a excellent option for keeping that outside your car while having a way to transport it. Now, our cargo carrier is weight rated for 500 pounds, which means I have no problem thinking that I can confidently stand within this basket. more

While our Durango does offer a lot of space inside, if that space is filled with people who all need luggage, you might not be able to fit it all inside the Durango. So our cargo carrier offers an excellent opportunity to carry things like luggage outside. Maybe if you're going to a hardware store, picking up a bag of mulch or even fertilizer and you don't wanna risk that ripping open into your vehicle, you can carry it out here a lot easier. Now our cargo carrier is weight rated for 500 pounds so there's a big variety of different things that you'd be able to carry in it. While it's important to know what your cargo basket is rated for, also make sure you know what your hitch is rated for because if your hitch is rated for under what the basket is, you wanna make sure you're going from your lowest component. more

We've got our stock spare tire on here right now, so take this with a grain of salt, but this does clear with the back door on the Jeep. So if you wanted to load up some stuff, maybe for a road trip, into the back you do have very limited cargo space back here, but you could load it up, close all this down, and then load up your cargo carrier with extra stuff. more

Cargo carriers are a great way to carry extra stuff with you on your trips or maybe to the hardware store or maybe just have a great way to get some stuff out from the inside of your vehicle and move it outside because things like bags of concrete mulch, dirt, things that have a tendency to rip and make a mess inside our vehicle can be a hassle. Getting it out here, that mess is gonna maybe fall through some of the gaps or just be easier to clean up by hosing off the carrier when you get home. Much less of a headache than vacuuming out the inside of your vehicle. more

You can keep it out here outside where it's a lot easier to hose it off whenever you get home, get it cleaned up. And all these gaps in here, let all that dirt and debris fall through so it doesn't pool up and make a big mess. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today I have the Let's Go Aero Gear Deck 17 cubic feet enclosed cargo carrier, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Jeep Wagoneer. So the Let's Go Aero Gear deck is going to be a box that fits onto your hitch receiver. It allows you to carry a lot of stuff. In fact, it has a 500 pound weight capacity, which is a bit more than most of your other enclosed cargo boxes. Let's Go Aero also has even larger boxes like the gear space or their black boxes. I personally think this is a pretty balanced size for your Wagoneers though, because the larger ones I would see more on motor homes than the Wagoneers. more

Thule Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Tesla Model Y- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Arcos hitch mounted enclosed cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Tesla Model Y. Now, to make something like this work, you're gonna need a hitch. You can have a class one, two or three hitch, doesn't matter. This will work with two inch and inch and a quarter hitches. And because it only supports a weight capacity of 110 pounds, even if you've got a class one hitch, it should work just fine. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Arcos enclosed storage box and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Ford Maverick. Now this is gonna be a hitch-mounted carrier, and if you're familiar with rooftop boxes, this may look pretty similar. The construction is gonna be a hard shell plastic much similar to a rooftop box, but the benefit of this is that it's gonna be easier to reach by installing it in the hitch, and you're gonna get the same benefits of that roof storage where it's enclosed from the elements and lockable. Now the other benefit is gonna be the added height. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Lets Go Aero GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier. This is gonna be a hitch mounted cargo box and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So right off the bat, if you need more cargo space, you want make sure that your cargo is covered and protected, this is gonna be one of the ways you can do that. Now, some of the features here is that instead of tilting away for more access to your hatch, this one actually slides out. So there's a pin here at the end where you just rotate that pin in order to release the slide out arms. It's an anti-rattle bolt, so it will also take a little bit of time before we come out, but once it does, I just hold the box by its handle, lift out and wait. more

Now, this cargo carrier is going to give you a lot of extra space to be able to get stuff out of your vehicle and put it on the cargo carrier. A lot of people like to use these for generators, anything that basically would smell inside your vehicle. Some households don't have trucks so you have to have something to be able to get materials that you don't want on the inside of your car, such as concrete, maybe small pieces of lumber, any of that kind of stuff. Lets Go Aero GearDeck Enclosed Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Toyota Highlander- Video
Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be checking out the Lets Go Aero GearDeck Enclosed Cargo Carrier. First impressions of this on the back of the Highlander, I could really see how this would be useful in a lot of different scenarios, especially on those long trips. Maybe you got the car fully loaded and you lose out on a lot of that cargo space and so you're gonna be able to put all those other things back here. Or especially, you know, if it's one of those deals where you have cargo that you don't necessarily wanna put inside of your vehicle, you can put it back here, or you have stuff that's kind of bulky, but you know, actually hooking up a separate trailer doesn't really, it's not really justified, so this is kind of that go-between and being completely covered, it goes a long way. It's gotta keep all your stuff dry. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Right now we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier, it's the compact version, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. This is gonna be made out of aluminum, so it's gonna be super lightweight, easy to store when you're not using it, but it's still gonna be able to support up to 500 pounds, so let's take a closer look. So with our Pacifica, we do have a decent amount of storage in the back, but once you start loading that up with people and their items, things really fill up very quickly, so something like this could be useful in the event that you're going for a long-term trip, somewhere where you need a little bit of extra storage, or maybe even the opposite where you're going on a short-term trip to just like the grocery store, hardware store, you're picking up something like mulch or anything that's gonna make a mess inside your car, you'd rather have that out on the back, this is how you get around that. Here in the inside are the aluminum slats, there's just six that run straight across the entire carrier, so you still have room to get some larger items on here with having that space for debris to fall through. Our side walls aren't very tall, but they do give you just a little bit more protection or something to butt your gear up against to give it a little bit more security inside. more

Flint Hill Goods 29 x 49 Carrier with Ramp Review - 2022 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
How's it going It's Ethan here at etrailer. Right now we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods 49 by 29 inch hitch-mounted aluminum cargo carrier with the 60 inch ramp right here on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. So we do have a large cargo container, but if we need a little bit of help loading some things up whether that's a wheelchair, scooter, generator in this case, lawnmower. As long as it falls within that 500 pound weight capacity of the carrier or in our case, our tongue weight on our hitch is actually 400 pounds. If we keep it below that amount we can get any sort of wheeled accessory up here and in securely and where we need them to go. So let's take a closer look. more
